The Wall

11/14/2020 by admin
Trivia:

“Hey! teachers! leave them kids alone!  All in all, it’s just another brick in the wall” – Pink Floyd

Rahul Dravid is not just another brick but ‘The Wall’ of cricket. He was one of the most complete batsmen the world has ever produced. Due to his batting consistency, Dravid is also called ‘The Wall’ in the cricketing world. If you happen to be at M Chinnaswamy stadium in Bangalore, then you will notice a complete wall is dedicated to Mr. Dependable. KSCA (Karnataka State Cricket Association) built the wall with 10,000 bricks to celebrate his 10,000 – plus Test and ODI runs. The wall also has a metal statue of Dravid, playing the trademark cover-drive shot and imprinted ‘Commitment Consistency Class’.
